Hi, I’m Gigliola Decarli

I am a professional driven by the purpose of creating real impact for the people and institutions I engage with. I believe knowledge only makes sense when applied with ethics, vision, and humanity.

I’ve been a Tax Auditor at the State Treasury of Mato Grosso do Sul since 2006. By training, I’m a lawyer; by passion, a researcher. My work lies at the crossroads of Tax Law, technological innovation, and public management, always guided by integrity, efficiency, and conflict prevention. Over the years, I’ve contributed to public administration in various technical and strategic roles — including national initiatives with FEBRAFITE, shaping public policies, and engaging in discussions on Tax Reform.

I have a multidisciplinary profile, strategic thinking, and a strong inclination toward transforming complex contexts. My leadership is purpose-driven: I strive to inspire through clear goals, consistent planning, and high-quality execution. I am committed, loyal, determined, and creative — always seeking to improve my active listening, empathy, and assertive communication to strengthen the relationships around me.

Currently, I’m interested in how public policy and effective governance can encourage compliance, strengthen integrity, and improve the relationship between government institutions and citizens. This aligns with my broader goal of understanding how policy design and administration can create meaningful societal impact.

Beyond my professional life, I’m a mother, a volunteer with children’s activities, and someone who loves living purposefully. I recharge in nature, through sports, family time, and simple pleasures — like enjoying a good conversation over chimarrão, a traditional South American drink made from yerba mate. I believe knowledge truly matters only when applied with ethics, empathy, and a human touch — and that’s what drives everything I do.
